Student Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society (SVECCS) is the University of Melbourne student chapter of the IVECCS, which aims to build a community for everyone who loves emergency and critical care.

SVECCS organises talks throughout the year from experienced speakers across various species like smallies, largies, and exotics. SVECCS collaborates with other interest groups to hold events, like an Ultrasound workshop together with Smallies. The year is also ended off with an annual clinical skills night to end the year off with a fun night for DVM1s and 2s to learn new skills from the DVM3s and 4s!

Regardless of whether you already love ECC, function on adrenaline and caffeine pumping your blood, or if you are still unsure and wanting to explore more, we welcome you!
