AWSS’s mission is to promote a love and understanding of animal welfare in the veterinary space and connect students with resources to help them be welfare advocates. As a new committee, AWSS plans to hit the ground running in 2025. From interactive discussions with experts, low stress handling sessions, and case conversations, to welfare placement experiences from students, we are always looking for more creative ways to bring welfare to the forefront of vet student’s minds.
